Garden Club is seeking student & staff craft vendors for the Harvest Festival on Oct. 26th. If you are a crafter and would like to have a table, please talk to a Garden Club member or Mrs. Scheuring, or see one of the information posters that are around the building. Applications will be accepted until Oct. 19th.
There is an informational meeting for students interested in joining XCode, a HS coding club, today in the Art Lab (E116) during activity period. See Ms. Rechtin with questions or if you need a 3:00 bus pass.
The BIPOC and Friends Club is a middle and high school club for Black and Indigenous People of Color and friends. The mission of the club is to provide a space for students to learn from guest speakers, provide support to each other, socialize, and to take action to make Dryden schools a more inclusive environment.
We will be having our first meeting on Tuesday, October 8 from 3:00 to 5 pm in the library. All are welcome, and snacks will be provided! Look for more information on the posters in the hallways.
Liberty Partnership students, please see Jo asap if you are interested in field trip opportunities to the Moore’s Family Farm for fall fun on Saturday October 12, or a SUNY Cortland football game on Saturday October 26.
October is Women in Science Month! Take a walk with some of the great women of science down in the D-wing science hallway. All of these amazing women have made MAJOR contributions in all areas of science, broken stereotypes, pushed through “glass ceilings,” while pursuing their dreams. You could be one of our future pictures on this wall!
