CAREER AND TECH PROGRAM AND NEW VISIONS PROGRAM INFORMATION
Open Houses for BOCES/Websites
The Career and Tech Center Virtual Open House is scheduled for Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 5:00 - 6:30pm. Information regarding this event:
-Students/Parents/Educators can attend this event by completing the google form on the https://www.tstcte.org/ website - find link on home screen to register
-Each of our 13 CTE programs will be hosting three 30 minute sessions - starting times are 5:00pm, 5:30pm, 6:00pm
-Students/Parents/Educators can participate in any of the 3 sessions, and if interested, can attend more than one class session
-Each session will include a curriculum overview by the CTE teacher, classroom tour, possible student demonstration, along with a Q & A
-Virtual Open House platform will be on Google Meet. Secured links will be emailed directly to people who register.
New Visions Virtual Open House Events are scheduled as follows:

-NV Engineering - Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 6:00 - 7:30pm
-NV Life Sciences/Applied Scientific Research - Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 6:00 - 7:30pm
-NV Health and Medical Sciences - Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 6:00 - 7:30pm
-Students/Parents/Educators can participate in any/all of the open house events
-Each session will include a curriculum overview, classroom/facilities tour, student feedback, along with Q & A
-Virtual Open House platform will be on Zoom. Secured links will be emailed directly to people who register.
-New Visions Application Deadline is Friday, March 19, 2021. Virtual interviews will be scheduled for the week of April 12 - 16 for students who qualify for the program.

Women in Computing at Cornell (WICC) has partnered with Girls Who Code and Accenture to bring the Girls Who Code program to Ithaca! Students will be able to attend free weekly virtual workshops where they will get the chance to learn the basics of computer science by using hardware and software to create their own projects and tackle real-world problems. The class is open to all genders. No experience necessary!

Middle School: Sundays starting February 28th from 12pm-1:30pm
